Last year we helped over 400 families and we are hoping to serve even more this year. The Tax Center is part of the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program created to help people file their taxes correctly and for free. Our preparers are all IRS-certified to ensure your taxes are done right and you get the maximum refund allowed.

The Tax Center is focused on boosting refunds and making sure tax filers are taking full advantage of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child and Dependent Care credits, Child Tax credits, Education, and Retirement credits. We also check for the “Circuit Breaker” credit for MA property owners/renters 65 years old and over, and Energy Efficiency credits for eligible  MA homeowners..
